Receiving Clerk - Benoni

Our client is seeking a diligent and accurate Receiving Clerk to join their warehouse operations in Benoni . This essential role involves the accurate recording and inspection of all incoming goods, ensuring that deliveries match purchase orders and are free from damage. You will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments and play a critical part in maintaining the integrity of the warehouse inventory system.

The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be adept at managing paperwork and data entry.

• Receive, unload, and inspect all incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery manifests.
• Accurately record details of received goods, including quantities, product codes, and condition, into the inventory system.
• Identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or short shipments to the relevant parties.
• Organize and stage received goods for timely transfer to storage or production areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area, ensuring safety standards are met.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock reconciliation as needed.

• Previous experience as a Receiving Clerk or in a similar warehouse administrative role.
• Proficiency in data entry and basic computer skills, including MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording information.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory systems is a plus.
