Warehouse Operative - FMCG Logistics

Our client is seeking hardworking and reliable Warehouse Operatives to join their busy FMCG distribution center in Benoni . This role is fundamental to ensuring the efficient flow of goods within the warehouse, from receiving and storing products to picking and dispatching orders accurately and on time. You will be an integral part of the logistics team, contributing to the smooth operation of the supply chain that serves numerous retailers.

This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety and efficiency. Working within the vibrant Benoni logistics hub, you will be a key player in keeping FMCG products moving to consumers.

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming goods, verifying quantities against delivery notes.
• Store products in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring proper stock rotation (FIFO/LIFO).
• Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently based on order requirements.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and competently.
• Load goods onto delivery vehicles for dispatch, ensuring correct items and quantities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in line with company policies.

• Proven experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment, preferably with FMCG products.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in picking and stock management.
• Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
• Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in the Benoni facility.
