Warehouse Operations Assistant

Our client is seeking a diligent and organized Warehouse Operations Assistant to support their busy facility in Benoni . This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth functioning of daily warehouse activities within the Logistics & Warehousing sector. You will assist with a variety of tasks, including receiving and dispatching goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring a safe and tidy work environment.

The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to the efficient operation of the warehouse.

• Assist with the receiving, inspection, and stocking of incoming goods.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory records and participate in regular stock takes.
• Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organized, and safe at all times.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided if necessary).
• Support the warehouse supervisor and team members in various operational tasks.

• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar operational environment is advantageous.
• Basic understanding of inventory management principles.
