To support the efficient and safe operation of the warehouse by performing product handling, staging, loading and offloading activities, forklift operation, stock maintenance, re‑bagging of damaged products, and general housekeeping. The role is responsible for ensuring the smooth movement and storage of products while maintaining quality, safety, and housekeeping standards during both peak and off‑peak operational periods

Operational Activities

• Stage and hook products for storage and dispatch.
• Load and offload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Operate a forklift during seasonal operational requirements.
• Re‑bag damaged or broken bags as required.
• Assist with stock maintenance and stock rotation activities.
• Support the accurate movement, handling, and storage of products.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and operational procedures.

Housekeeping and Maintenance

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
• Perform general housekeeping within the warehouse.
• Assist with warehouse cleaning and maintenance activities.
• Restage stock as required to optimise storage and accessibility
• Support general maintenance activities during off‑peak periods.
• Report any safety hazards, equipment defects, or stock concerns.

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Valid Driver's Licence.

• Minimum 1-3 years' experience in a plant operation, warehousing, manufacturing, agricultural, or logistics environment.
• Experience operating forklifts and handling materials.
• Experience loading and offloading vehicles.
• Experience maintaining housekeeping and safety standards within an operational environment.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Good organisational skills.
• Strong attention to detail and observation skills.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in Afrikaans and English.
• Understanding of quality control requirements.
• Basic understanding of workplace health and safety practices
