The General Worker plays a vital role in ensuring that products are received, stored, handled and dispatched accurately and efficiently. This position contributes directly to maintaining high warehouse standards, supporting customer service excellence, protecting product quality, and ensuring stock is available when needed. • Supports efficient warehouse operations through accurate stock handling and movement.
• Maintains high housekeeping standards to ensure a safe and organised working environment.
• Delivers accurate stock receiving and dispatch processes with minimal errors.
• Ensures products are stored according to FIFO principles and warehouse procedures.
• Protects product quality by performing consistent quality and condition inspections.
• Coordinates effective loading and offloading activities while maintaining product integrity.
• Improves stock traceability through proper barcode visibility and stock identification.
• Supports customer and supplier service by assisting with stock handling requirements.
