Reception Teacher

A welcoming and inclusive Primary School in Southall / Uxbridge, West London is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Reception Teacher to join their team as soon as possible. This role will run until the end of the current academic year, with a permanent contract available from September 2026 for the right candidate.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Early Years practitioner with strong EYFS experience who is passionate about delivering high-quality early education and creating a nurturing, engaging learning environment.

The Role:

Full-time Reception class teacher

Planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons in line with the EYFS Framework

Establishing a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment

Monitoring, assessing and tracking pupil progress

Building positive relationships with parents and carers

Working collaboratively within a supportive Early Years team

The Ideal Candidate Will:

Hold QTS (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification)

Have recent and substantial experience teaching within EYFS

Demonstrate strong knowledge of child development and early learning

Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

Be reflective, proactive and a positive team player
