This KS2 Class Teacher (Part‑time) position is ideal for a teacher looking for variety within their week. The successful candidate will undertake shared class teaching responsibilities in a Year 3 class for two days each week, working closely with an experienced teaching partner to ensure continuity and excellent outcomes for pupils. The remaining two days will involve delivering high‑quality PPA cover across the school, providing the opportunity to teach a range of year groups while becoming an integral member of a collaborative and supportive teaching team.
Job Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and creative lessons as a KS2 Class Teacher (Part‑time) in line with the National Curriculum.
- Work collaboratively with the Year 3 class teacher to ensure seamless planning, assessment, and pupil progress.
- Provide high‑quality PPA cover across the school, maintaining excellent behaviour management and continuity of learning.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment where every pupil feels supported and challenged to achieve their best.
- Assess, monitor, and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents to support the wider school community.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification
- Experience as a KS2 Class Teacher or in a similar role
- Strong subject/curriculum knowledge relevant to the role
- Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
- Right to work in the UK
