Job Overview

Position:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant at Southall School.

Hours:

32.5 hours per week, term time plus PD days. Permanent.

Responsibilities

The job involves working across the whole school and with individual students. It is desirable for the Teaching Assistant to have experience of working with children with SEN and complex needs.

Qualifications and Experience

Level two numeracy/literacy skills.
NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience.
An understanding of Child Protection policies.
Patience and empathy towards pupils.
Good command of literacy and numeracy.

Salary and Hours

Hours:

32.5 per week. Salary: £13.90 per hour (including market factor), paid at scale 3.
