About the role and school

Are you an enthusiastic and committed Primary Teacher (KS2) looking for a new opportunity in Southall, Ealing? Teach Plus are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school who are seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher (KS2) to join their team from January 2027. The successful Primary Teacher (KS2) will take on full classroom responsibilities for a Year 6 class, delivering engaging and purposeful lessons while supporting pupils to achieve their full academic and personal potential.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Primary Teacher (KS2) who is passionate about high-quality teaching, positive relationships and preparing pupils for the next stage of their education.

Job Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons across the Year 6 curriculum
  • Lead the Year 6 classroom effectively, maintaining high expectations for behaviour, learning and pupil achievement
  • Assess pupil progress regularly and use assessment information to inform future planning and teaching
  • Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that supports the needs of all pupils
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and parents to promote pupil progress and wellbeing
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and support pupils in developing confidence, independence and positive learning behaviours
Qualifications/Experience
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification
  • Experience as a Primary Teacher (KS2) or in a similar role
  • Strong subject/curriculum knowledge relevant to the role
  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
  • Right to work in the UK
