Field Service Engineer

STEM Recruitment Solutions are delighted to partner with our client as they seek a Field Service Engineer to join them in London on a permanent basis. Our client operates in scientific environments, and is looking to add a Field Service Engineer (FSE) to their team to visit customer sites carrying out installs, repairs, inspections and more across Healthcare, Life Science and Electronics.

The role is based across North/West London on a remote basis. Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of laboratory instruments. You will mostly work with water purification systems in regulated settings. You will also provide customer support and training, contributing to the overall reliability and efficiency of scientific equipment used across various lab environments. The role involves travel around London and requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and calibration to maintain high-quality service delivery.

This is a dynamic role with travel around the London area with some overnight stays required (around 20% of your time) Requirements:
Minimum HNC or equivalent in Engineering or Scientific discipline At least 2 years experience working with laboratory instrumentation or on similarly regulated equipment (e.g. electronics, aviation, medical devices) Strong technical and troubleshooting skills Flexibility to travel and adapt to different lab environments Experience in field service is desirable but not essential; comprehensive training will be provided Ability to generate leads for new hardware, accessories, service contracts.
