We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being. This role involves assisting with daily activities, supporting nursing staff, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patient Care: Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
  • Mobility Support: Help patients move in and out of beds, in baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles.
  • Vital Signs Monitoring: Measure and record patients' vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates.
  • Medication Assistance: Assist in administering medications and ensure patients follow their prescribed treatment plans.
  • Housekeeping Duties: Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of patients' rooms and other areas.
  • Emotional Support: Provide emotional support and companionship to patients and their families.
  • Communication: Report any changes in patients' condition to the nursing staff and keep accurate records of care provided.
  • Safety: Ensure a safe environment by following infection control procedures and handling medical equipment properly.
Qualifications
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a healthcare setting is an advantage but not mandatory.
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
    • Good physical stamina and the ability to lift and move patients.
  • Certifications: Current CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
