Position: Refrigeration Engineer (Permanent)
Refrigeration Engineer - Food Manufacturing

We are looking for a Refrigeration Engineer to join one of the UK's leading food manufacturing companies, supplying a wide range of products to both retailers and the food service sector.

OPPORTUNITY HIGHLIGHTS

Competitive Salary: £45,000 - £55,000

THE REFRIGERATION ENGINEER ROLE

Repair & Maintenance of A/C, chiller and freezers.
Mechanical and Electrical work knowledge for Refrigerant.
Responsible for the safe and efficient installation.
Able to be repair and fault finding.
Ability to demonstrate a good level of understanding of commercial and industrial refrigeration electrics.
Attend reactive service calls on a variety of air conditioning units including splits, ASHP and VRF systems.
Carry out preventative maintenance on refrigerant unit, ASHP and ventilation units.
Installation of air conditioning systems.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
You'll have strong experience as a Refrigeration Engineer in the food manufacturing sector, along with the following:

Fully qualified with F-Gas Certification
Experience in Air Conditioning, Freezer/ Refrigerator Technician
Having leadership abilities
Being practical
Having good written and spoken communication skills
Having interpersonal abilities
Being aware of safety issues
Being able to read technical drawings
Knowledge of ventilation installation would be an advantage
Knowledge of Air Source Heat Pumps would be an advantage
