Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a distinguished and well established mid-tier accounting firm based in Southampton, that are keen to appoint an ACA/ACCA student to complement the existing team.

Working across both audit and accounts, you will have a blended role which will offer a unique variety of exposure to compliment your ACCA / ACA studies. This is an ideal role for a part qualified student, looking for a role which can offer variety and future progression.

• Assist and participate in audit assignments at client sites.
• Draft and prepare client accounts/statutory accounts of partnerships and LLPs along with tax computations.
• Compile Profit and Loss accounts, balance sheets of assets and liabilities and trial balance.
• Draft reports covering financial statements, client business issues, systems and controls.
• Liaise closely with clients and other stakeholders, keeping the relevant manager/supervisor.

• At least 2+ years  practice accounting experience and studying towards the ACCA/ACA qualification.
• Excellent communication skills and confidence in liaising with clients.
