Business Debt Recovery Specialist
Location:
Hybrid / Southampton, Hampshire
Hours:
Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
Salary:
Up to £35,000 per annum
Contract:

About the Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of an established and highly successful commercial services group with a modern office based in Southampton. Key Responsibilities
Working as part of a collaborative and energetic team, you will manage a portfolio of business accounts to resolve outstanding balances and queries. Your daily duties will include:
* Account Management:
Taking ownership of a designated portfolio of active customer accounts, making regular outbound contact to manage balances.
* Query Resolution:
Identifying and resolving account discrepancies, handling disputes professionally, and setting up structured payment schedules.
* Administration:
Ensuring all account interactions and updates are documented with a high level of accuracy on the internal system.
* Client Updates:
Communicating directly with corporate stakeholders to provide progress updates on their active accounts.
* Performance:
Working productively to meet individual quality standards and contribute to overall team targets
What We Are Looking For
* Experience:
Previous experience in credit control, client accounts or debt collection is highly desirable.
* Communication:
An articulate, confident, and professional telephone manner with strong active listening skills.
* Organisation:
Good time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and work productively under pressure.
* IT Literacy:
Confident using standard office software (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook).
