As an Outsourcing Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the delivery of high-quality outsourcing and accounting services to a portfolio of clients. You will oversee a team, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery, and support senior management in achieving departmental goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships,ensuring exceptional client service.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance and support.
- Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, management accounts, and other financial reports for clients.
- Manage the delivery of outsourced accounting functions including bookkeeping, payroll, VAT returns, and management accounts.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve internal processes for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with the latest accounting standards,regulations, and industry best practices.
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within an accountancy practice.
- Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102 and experience with accounting software (e.g., Xero, Quick Books, Sage).
- Prior experience of managing or mentoring more junior members of staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing issues.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.

- Salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum.
