- Boutique private client tax practice advising individuals, families, trustees and executors
- Advisory-led senior role with a defined route to Tax Manager over 12–18 months
- Advise on UK Income Tax, CGT and IHT, including property transactions, disposals, lifetime gifting, estate planning, trusts and estates
- Carry out technical research and prepare written advice
- Manage own portfolio of personal tax clients: prepare and review Self Assessment returns, trust and estate returns, and IHT reporting (incl. IHT
400) - Liaise directly with clients, solicitors and accountants
- Over time: review team output, provide technical guidance, allocate workflow, oversee deadlines and quality
- UK private client tax experience gained in an accountancy or specialist tax practice
- Proven advisory experience, not compliance only
- Strong Income Tax and CGT knowledge; practical IHT exposure
- Able to work independently in a remote setting; strong written communication
- ATT; CTA or STEP (qualified or studying)
- Trust, estate and IHT
400 experience - Experience reviewing or mentoring
- Experience working with solicitors, IFAs and introducers
- Fully remote, anywhere in the UK
- Mix of advisory and compliance, including complex planning work
- Close working relationship with the practice owner
