Accounts Assistant; Temporary

Position: Accounts Assistant (Temporary)
CMA Recruitment Group is delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established business in the centre of Southampton, Hampshire. The business is known for its lively and supportive culture, with a small, collaborative finance team. Due to a team restructure, they are seeking an immediately available Accounts Assistant to support the function on a temporary basis.

What will the Accounts Assistant role involve?

Processing and coding invoices, reconciling supplier statements, handling supplier queries, supporting payment runs, and assisting with month-end tasks.
Monitoring debtors, chasing overdue payments, resolving billing issues, allocating receipts, and preparing aged debt reports.
Accurate inputting of financial data, maintaining organised records, identifying discrepancies, and supporting general administrative duties.
Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy:

Proactive and confident.
Able to work at pace and hit the ground running within a lively finance environment.
Comfortable supporting both AP and credit control activities.
