SALARY: £4,866 per annum Actual Salary (£26,244 per FTE) + Benefits

Saturdays only, 8.00am to 4.30pm (8 hours per week), 39 weeks per year
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Saturday Administrator / Receptionist to join a busy community arts centre based within a secondary school.
As a Saturday Administrator / Receptionist you will provide a professional reception service while supporting the day-to-day administration of the centre, assisting customers, processing bookings and helping deliver a varied programme of community activities.
The Saturday Administrator / Receptionist will also support events, maintain welcoming public areas, process payments and work closely with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the centre every Saturday.
DUTIES- Reception Services:
Welcome visitors and provide a professional, friendly and efficient front of house service - Customer Enquiries:
Answer telephone, email and face-to-face enquiries, responding promptly or directing queries to the appropriate colleague - Bookings and Payments:
Process bookings and payments using the centre's booking systems and maintain accurate records - Administrative Support:
Prepare reports, maintain filing systems, produce registers and support general office administration - Community
Activities:
Assist with the organisation and delivery of community arts classes, workshops and events - Centre Presentation:
Ensure reception, foyer, coffee shop, gift shop and hired spaces remain clean, organised and welcoming - Communication:
Liaise with instructors, site staff and management to support daily operations and activity schedules - Closing Procedures:
Secure the building safely at the end of the day in accordance with centre procedures
- Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
- Experience providing excellent customer service within a public-facing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and confidence using computerised systems
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise a varied workload
- Ability to work independently and use sound judgement
- A genuine interest in supporting arts and community activities
- Knowledge of marketing activities or promotional campaigns
- Experience using social media platforms to promote events or activities
- Experience using electronic booking or ticketing systems
