Are you an organised, proactive individual looking to build a rewarding career in office administration?

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Logistics Administrator to join their fast-paced team, supporting commercial marine customers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to transition into a professional office environment, enjoys building strong working relationships, and takes pride in delivering great customer service.

Whether your background is in retail, hospitality, or you already have a touch of basic office experience, full training on the logistics side will be provided. If you have a positive attitude, excellent attention to detail, and a genuine willingness to learn, we would love to hear from you.

The Role

As a Logistics Administrator, you will play a key role in making sure orders get from A to B smoothly. You will:

* Manage Customer Orders:
Track and manage orders from the moment they are received through to successful delivery.

* Coordinate & Communicate:
Liaise daily with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to keep everything moving efficiently.

* Handle Documentation:
Take care of import-related administration and shipping paperwork, keeping accurate records.

* Update Systems:
Upload and manage tracking information on customer portals.

* Resolve Queries:
Handle customer questions and look into any delivery delays, following issues through to completion.

* Build Relationships:
Develop good working relationships with regular clients to ensure a reliable service.

* Learn and Grow:
Support continuous team improvements and take on more responsibility as your confidence grows.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who is practical, motivated, and enjoys working as part of a busy team. You should bring:

* Clear Communication: A professional phone manner and the ability to write clear, polite emails.

* Strong Attention to Detail: A natural knack for spot-on administration and keeping accurate data.

* Good Time Management:
The ability to prioritise tasks effectively and work comfortably to deadlines.

* A Willingness to Learn:
You don't need to know the logistics industry yet—you just need a positive attitude and a hunger to learn.

* Problem-Solving

Skills:

A sensible, customer-focused approach to sorting out issues.

Why Apply?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established and supportive company that genuinely invests in its staff. You will benefit from:

* Structured, step-by-step training on how the industry works.

* Clear opportunities for internal career development.

* Free on-site parking.

* A friendly, collaborative workplace where your contribution is valued
