About the Role The Central Administration Service acts as a central hub, providing valuable administrative support across multiple teams and departments. This varied role encompasses post services, reprographics, document management, office support, and reception duties, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the business.
Key Responsibilities Post Services Sort, scan, and distribute incoming mail to the appropriate teams and departments. Prepare outgoing post for collection at designated times. Coordinate and prepare inter-office mail for collection. Investigate and resolve unclaimed or incorrectly addressed mail where possible. Reprographics Provide photocopying, printing, and binding services across the business. Take ownership of reprographics requests, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards maintained.
Keep colleagues informed on the progress of their work. Scan documents and prepare both electronic and hard-copy court bundles and document packs. Complete PDF amendments and document formatting tasks as required. Filing, Archiving and Retrieval Support archiving activities, including arranging the storage and retrieval of archived files and boxes. Assist with file destruction processes when required. Maintain, update, and organise both paper and electronic filing systems.
Office Services Monitor and maintain stationery stock levels. Coordinate the distribution of office supplies to various locations as required. Reception and Meeting Support Provide reception cover and welcome clients and visitors professionally. Organise refreshments for meetings when required. Set up and test meeting room equipment ahead of client and internal meetings. Support the smooth running of front-of-house operations. Responsibilities may evolve over time as the needs of the business change and new processes are introduced.
About You To succeed in this role, you will have:
Excellent attention to detail. A methodical and organised approach, even when undertaking routine tasks. Pride in producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and clients. The ability to work independently and follow instructions with minimal supervision. Strong time management skills and the ability to meet competing deadlines. Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and Outlook.
A flexible, team-focused attitude. The confidence to use initiative and solve problems as they arise.
