Our client, a prestige dealer in Southampton, is looking for an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician.

Salary

£35,000 basic

£42,000 OTE Uncapped

25 days' annual leave + bank holidays

41.25 hours per week, including Saturdays on a rota basis

In this role:

You'll carry out servicing and maintenance on a range of vehicles, including diagnostic, warranty and repair work.

You'll handle a variety of vehicle maintenance tasks, from oil changes to cambelt changes, supported by digital write-ups and job card completion.

You'll conduct electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs) in line with company standards.

We're looking for:

Someone with a recognised Level 3 qualification (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).

Someone with previous experience as a Service Technician/Mechanic, ideally with exposure to both warranty and servicing work.

Someone with strong teamwork skills, who follows process and upholds high standards of safety and quality.

Someone with a MOT Licence is a plus - full training can be provided if not yet qualified.

Most importantly, someone eager to learn as this role will test you, but also help you develop and progress within your Mechanic careers with our manufacturer accreditation training.
