Ready to take charge of a busy workshop and keep everything running smoothly? Here at Hendy, we’re looking for a passionate, motivated and customer focused Workshop Controller to join the team and lead our busy service department. Right first time, every time ensuring the highest quality for all servicing and repairs. You’ll work closely with our Service Manager to ensure the workshop runs smoothly, efficiently, and productively.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Making sure all booked work is completed on time and to the highest standards
  • Overseeing the day-to-day running of the workshop
  • Motivating technicians to boost productivity, efficiency, and overall department profitability
  • Monitoring and reporting on technician performance and workshop hours
  • Maintaining high working standards in line with ISO requirements and manufacturer warranty procedures
  • Providing technical support to technicians when needed
  • Working closely with Service Advisors to ensure first class customer service
About You
  • Technical knowledge and experience gained through prior experience as a Senior Technician or Workshop Controller
  • Confident with computers and strong with numbers
  • A love for leadership, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Highly organised with great communication skills
  • Holds a full driving license
