Vehicle Technician

Location: Portswood

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a a well-known independent fleet maintenance business located in Southampton. This is a a flexible role that combines workshop and mobile work.

Our Automotive Client is looking for a skilled Mobile & Workshop Vehicle Technician (Hybrid role Available).

Duties:

Carrying out Servicing and Repairs to a variety of Vehicles, including on Ford Transits, Mercedes Sprinters, Volkswagen Crafters, and other light commercial vehicles
MOT Testing
Performing Diagnostic Testing to identify Vehicle Faults.
Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest standards

Requirements:

Experienced in working with commercial vehicles, especially LCVs
NVQ or City & Guilds Level 3 is advantageous but not essential
Open to time-served mechanics and technicians without formal qualifications but with practical expertise
A Current and Valid UK Driving License
Dedicated and committed approach.

The salary for this role is up to £43,000.
