Your primary duties will involve
  • Performing standard and complex vehicle services following manufacturer specifications
  • Diagnosing faults and implementing effective repairs using advanced diagnostic tools
  • Conducting MOT tests and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
  • Communicating technical requirements clearly to customers, ensuring satisfaction
  • Mentoring and supporting less experienced colleagues
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
  • Attending training sessions to stay current with technical advancements
The ideal Vehicle Technician for the role will possess
  • Relevant City & Guilds, BTEC, or NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 qualifications in vehicle maintenance
  • Proven experience working within a franchise dealership or authorised workshop
  • Strong fault diagnosis skills, with an MOT Tester qualification preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills and a proactive approach
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Organisational skills and a commitment to meeting deadlines
