We are seeking a highly skilled PDI Technician for a reputable vehicle logistics company based in Southampton, Hampshire. - Conduct detailed pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles, focusing on hybrid and electric models
- Use diagnostic software and electronic systems to identify and rectify complex electrical and mechanical faults
- Perform advanced diagnostics, ADAS calibration, EV battery replacements, and wheel alignments
- Record inspection and repair data accurately, either electronically or manually
- Support general workshop activities, including vehicle prep, valeting, and minor body repairs
- Assist with manufacturing and installation of accessories such as ply lining and shelving, with emphasis on electric vehicles
- Enforce health and safety procedures in accordance with company policies
- Collaborate with team members and mentor junior staff to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency
- Full UK driving licence
- Level 3 hybrid and electric vehicle qualifications essential
- Proven experience within an automotive workshop, ideally in a main dealer or logistics setting
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools, electrical systems, and vehicle inspections
- Strong mechanical aptitude and dexterity, with enthusiasm for emerging electric and hybrid technologies
- Ability to adhere to strict processes and work effectively as part of a team
- Skilled in using diagnostic software and workshop machinery
- Reliable, proactive, and committed to delivering top-quality work on all vehicle types, especially hybrids and EVs
