We are using and creating technology to transform operations at sea to enable people and the planet to thrive.

We are open-minded and fearless in our approach to innovation and don't believe in boundaries. We challenge everything and have massive ambitions to drag aging industries into the tech era.

We take safety, equality and education very seriously, and our responsibilities don't stop at our front door. Our business is built on the belief that there's definitely a more environmentally responsible way to operate at sea.

We employ people who share our core values. We expect our people to be courageous, trustworthy, and conscientious, driven by a desire to do the right thing. We strive for excellence, work collaboratively, and are genuinely excited by our work.

We offer opportunities for our people to develop beyond their role and span a multitude of disciplines. These are open to all, regardless of background and experience level. Working with us means being part of a team that is harnessing technology and creativity to disrupt a traditional industry.

We are not your average workplace.

As we continue to grow, we are expanding our Procurement team and are looking for two talented individuals to join us: a Technical Outsourcing Buyer and an Asset Buyer. These roles offer the opportunity to contribute in different but equally important ways—one shaping strategic direction and supplier partnerships, and the other ensuring operational excellence and day‑to‑day delivery.

Technical Outsourcing Buyer

The Technical Outsourcing Buyer is a strategic role focused on translating complex technical requirements into effective outsourcing strategies. You will play a key role in developing and managing supplier partnerships, leading tenders and negotiations, and ensuring that external services deliver value, innovation, and performance. Working closely with engineering, operations, and leadership teams, you will influence sourcing decisions that support long‑term business objectives and help strengthen Ocean Infinity’s technological and operational capabilities.

You will be involved in sourcing activities such as RFQs and tenders, supplier management, setup and renewal of contract, and ensuring compliance with procurement processes and governance. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business, ensuring all out‑scoring scope are delivered according to good procurement practices.

Asset Buyer

The Asset Buyer is a highly operational and hands‑on role that supports the day‑to‑day procurement of technical goods and services linked to the lifecycle of our payload assets. You will be responsible for managing purchase orders, supporting sourcing activities, and working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure asset availability and smooth project execution. Your focus will be on efficiency, accuracy, and continuous improvement—identifying opportunities to optimise cost, reduce risk, and enhance supplier performance in a fast‑paced environment.

You will be involved in sourcing activities such as RFQs, supplier management, renewals contract and purchase order administration, and ensuring compliance with procurement processes and governance. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business and play an important part, ensuring our assets are maintained and ready for deployment.

  • Procurement or supply chain qualification or equivalent experience.
  • 3–6 years’ experience in technical, maritime, defence or service‑based environment.
  • Experience with RFQs, tenders, and outsourcing models.

  • ERP and Excel proficiency.
  • Strong stakeholder and communication skills.

Up to £40,000 per annum. The salary varies for this position as we are recruiting in multiple regional locations and job grades. The salary process is based on skills, abilities, and experience required.

What You Can Expect

We are driven by transforming the industry, through our technology, thoughts, behaviours and actions. Being inclusive and respectful to all is fundamental to who we are. It is the right thing to do and enables innovation and creativity to thrive. There is more work to be done, and we know that we aren’t perfect, but our commitment to these values is unwavering.
