About the Role We are looking for a Freelance Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a commercial construction project valued at approximately £2 million. The role involves working closely with the Site Manager to ensure smooth day-to-day operations, uphold safety standards, and maintain quality throughout the build. This position offers the chance to contribute to a well-structured scheme with a respected contractor, where attention to detail and proactive problem-solving will be key to success.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Site Manager in all aspects of day-to-day site operations.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, ensuring work is completed to specification and on schedule.
• Monitor site progress, identify potential delays, and assist in implementing corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily logs, delivery notes, and inspection reports.
• Assist with quality control checks, ensuring quality construction meets required standards.
• Manage site logistics, including material deliveries and storage.
• Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and issue resolution.
• Report regularly to the Site Manager on progress, issues, and safety compliance.
