Asbestos Surveyor

Asbestos Surveyor Pertemps are currently recruiting for experienced Asbestos Surveyor's to join a leading environmental business in Southampton. This is a full time, permanent position and the successful candidates will be provided with a company van as well. Responsibilities:

• Building inspections. To include, management and refurbishment/demolition Asbestos surveys

• Liaise with tenants and client representatives in a professional manner

• Sampling in accordance with HSG
  264 and in-house technical procedures

• Record data accurately on company database, via a tablet device

• Accurately record sample information onto sample bags and sample labels

• Produce accurate electronic site plans, where necessary and accurately record all sample locations and material extent onto final plans

• Check plans against data on tablet and sample bags, prior to submission

• Ensure all samples taken are submitted to the laboratory for analysis, within the client specified time frame

• Quality Assurance checks of report accuracy

Requirements:

• Previous experience within Asbestos Surveying

• Understanding of the building trade and construction industry

• Full UK Driving licence

• Self sufficient

Our client will provide full in-house training and audits before the successful candidate will attend their own surveys. This role will include working on a variety of sites across the South of the UK. No two days are the same as each working day will allow you to gain a diverse range of skills within the industry The Asbestos Surveyor Role:

• £30,000 - £40,000 depending on experience

• Monthly bonus scheme

• Six monthly performance bonus

• 21 days annual leave (rising to 29 with length of service)
