Senior Quantity Surveyor

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a renowned tier 1 main contractor based in Southampton. The business operates nationally and has regional offices across the country, undertaking projects across both the public and private sectors valuing between £20mil - £100mil. They have a secure forward order book with projects across defence, education, commercial, MOJ and healthcare.

Projects are administered via a mix of JCT and NEC forms of contract.

With a number of projects in pre-construction, they're now looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team.

As Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be expected to manage projects through pre-construction and deliver once in contract. You will be reporting into the Commercial Manager.

• Work alongside pre-construction team on any 2-stage tenders
• Oversee the teams procurement / management of sub-contractor packages
• Deal with final accounts / any dispute resolution that may arise
• Liaise with the clients teams
• Mentor junior members of the Surveying team and be involved in their professional development

• Hold a BSc Quantity Surveying or HNC
• Have experience managing projects from pre-construction through to final account
• Be proficient in administering various forms of contract including JCT and NEC
• Must live in a commutable location to Southampton and be happy to commute to sites across Hampshire as requested.
• Must have the full right to work in the UK

• Salary:
  Up to £85k
• Clear progression pathways & additional training
