Permanent Vector Recruitment Solutions are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Drainage Civils Engineer / Drainage Groundworker to join a growing drainage division covering London and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Groundworker or Drainage Civils Engineer with a strong background in drainage excavations, pipework installations, manholes, reinstatement, and remedial works. You'll be joining a busy team delivering high-quality drainage projects across residential and commercial properties.

The Role Carry out drainage excavations, repairs, and new drainage installations Install manholes, inspection chambers, gullies, ACO drainage systems, and underground pipework Complete drainage remedial works, including replacing damaged drains, pipework, and sewer connections Undertake high-quality reinstatement works, including tarmac, concrete, block paving, paving slabs, and footpaths Work alongside Drainage Engineers and Supervisors to deliver projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard Read site drawings and drainage plans to ensure accurate installation Operate small plant and power tools while maintaining a safe working environment About You Strong experience installing ACO drainage systems, manholes, drainage pipework and external sewer stacks Experienced in drainage excavations, reinstatement, and safe digging around underground services Full UK driving licence (essential) Good understanding of Health & Safety and site procedures CSCS, CPCS or NPORS are advantageous What's On Offer Competitive salary, depending on experience Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm Overtime available at enhanced rates Company vehicle and fuel card 28 days paid holiday (including bank holidays) Long-term opportunity with a growing drainage contractor This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Drainage Civils Operative, Drainage Groundworker, or Drainage Excavation Engineer looking to join a well-established business with excellent long-term prospects and a varied workload across London.
