We're recruiting for an experienced Building Surveyor to join a growing team delivering a diverse range of projects across the South. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile schemes across the Defence, Blue Light, Education and Housing sectors, with project values ranging from £10,000 to £3 million
.

This role offers plenty of variety, working alongside an established team on both professional and project surveying instructions while supporting the continued growth of the business.

The Role
  • Deliver a broad range of building surveying services across multiple projects.
  • Undertake surveys, inspections, schedules of condition and other professional instructions.
  • Prepare technical reports, specifications, feasibility studies and asset reviews.
  • Administer projects using standard building contracts, including JCT and NEC.
  • Ensure projects comply with current health and safety legislation and statutory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Support and mentor junior members of the team.
  • Assist senior management with the successful delivery of regional projects.
About You
  • Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a RICS-accredited equivalent.
  • Strong background in building surveying with sound technical knowledge.
  • Experience working across a range of project and professional services.
  • Good understanding of JCT and NEC contracts.
  • Commercially aware with experience managing client relationships.
  • Confident producing technical reports and specifications.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and time management skills.
  • A proactive team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to support and develop others.
