The Assistant Quantity Surveyor should already have a foundational set of knowledge and credentials in quantity surveying as a graduate with ideally between 1- 2 years working as a Junior or Assistant Quantity Surveyor with a degree in Quantity Surveying (desirable). For the Assistant Quantity Surveyor they will consider someone with some experience who has just qualified with construction or Quantity Surveying degree or someone pursuing a career as a Quantity Surveyor.
Assistant Quantity Surveyor Duties:
- Cost estimation, takes offs, tendering, contract management, risk assessment, and ensuring projects are completed within budget and to the required standards.
