Job Overview

University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust is delighted to offer a fantastic opportunity for a Cancer Care Fellow. The role involves working within the NHS, obtaining an educational framework equivalent to training grade doctors, and contributing to quality improvement and audit projects. The post is supported by an educational supervisor and offers pathways to training posts at CMT and ST3 level.

Qualifications, Training & Experience
  • GMC registration with a licence to practise
  • Experience of working within the NHS
  • Nights and on‑call experience
Desirable Criteria
  • MRCP Part 1 and Part 2 written
  • MRCP PACES
  • Broad experience in Acute Medicine
  • Previous experience in Oncology
  • Research, audit and quality improvement experience
Aptitudes and Skills
  • Good clinical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work within a multi‑disciplinary group
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, reliable and flexible
