Architectural Technician – Pathway to Associate | Residential Projects | Hybrid | Southampton | £38,000
Step into a role with a clear route to Associate level, working on developer-led residential schemes and taking real ownership of technical delivery. This position offers project responsibility, client exposure, and the chance to play a key part in a growing practice.
The Role- Produce detailed working drawings and technical packages using AutoCAD
- Deliver residential projects typically ranging from 30–300 units
- Manage workload and programme across multiple projects
- Oversee and support team members, reviewing drawings to maintain standards
- Act as a key client contact and help build long-term relationships
- Resolve technical and design issues with practical solutions
- Assist with fee proposals and project planning
- Architectural Technician with 3+ years’ post-qualification experience
- Strong background in UK residential projects
, ideally developer-led schemes - High level of proficiency in AutoCAD
- Experience coordinating projects and working with house builders
- Revit experience beneficial but not essential
- Salary around £38,000
- Hybrid working (3 days in the office after probation)
