Urban Designer
Location:
Newcastle Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the North Easts leading multidisciplined RIBA chartered practices who offer a wide range of expertise to the residential, master planning, commercial, and education sectors. They are on the lookout for a talented Urban Designer to hit the ground running for their team in Newcastle. Benefits for the role of Urban Designer include:

Supporting the preparation of masterplans, frameworks and urban design proposals Producing plans, diagrams, presentations and design material Undertaking site and contextual analysis Assisting with feasibility studies and design development Contributing to design codes, design guidance and planning documents Supporting the preparation of planning applications and associated material Producing high-quality visualisations and presentation material Working collaboratively with architects, planners, consultants and clients Skills and experience for the role of Urban Designer: A relevant degree in Urban Design, Town Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture or a related discipline Relevant experience as an Urban Designer within a UK Practice or consultancy A genuine interest in urban design, placemaking and the built environment Strong graphic and presentation skills Proficiency with AutoCAD and Sketchup An understanding of master planning principles and spatial design Good written and verbal communication skills A creative and analytical approach to problem solving Good attention to detail and an ability to manage deadlines The ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team If This role interests you or if you are interested in searching for other roles relating to architecture please feel free to contact Ben Moore on or email .
