A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Locum Veterinary Surgeon to join a busy, well-established practice in Southampton. This vibrant clinic is supported by a highly qualified team of vets, experienced nurses, and dedicated support staff, ensuring you can focus on delivering exceptional care to patients while enjoying a collaborative and friendly working environment.

As a locum, you’ll run consultations from 9am to 6pm with a one hour lunch break, managing a varied caseload in a dynamic hospital setting. Experience in a busy practice is highly valued, and you’ll be supported by a skilled team who pride themselves on maintaining the highest standards of veterinary care. The practice uses the Merlin system, making case management smooth and efficient.

This locum position offers a competitive rate of £400–£500 per day, with payment available via sole trader or umbrella arrangements. It’s a brilliant opportunity for experienced vets looking for flexibility, exposure to a diverse caseload, and a supportive environment to practice your skills.
