Adult Education Community Cooking Tutor
Join our team at Itchen Sixth Form College as an Adult Education Community Cooking Tutor. In this role you will deliver high‑quality community courses, particularly cooking courses, to adults, children and those with additional needs in schools and community venues across Hampshire.
Salary:
Casual claim, Spine Point 3 £ 28.97 p/h + £3.50 holiday allowance.

Start Date:
January 2026.
Travel to Basingstoke and surrounding areas is required. A full, valid UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high‑quality community cooking courses to adults, children and those with additional needs.
- Tutor groups of adults and children at all levels, using a variety of relevant methods and approaches to enable and support learning.
- Complete class registers and other administrative tasks, ensuring absences and lateness are recorded accurately and actions taken in line with staff handbook procedures.
- Tutoring and cooking experience.
- Personable, engaging, organised, self‑reliant, enthusiastic and professional.
- Driven and ambitious with a Level 3 Certificate in Education (PTLLS).
- Proven experience planning and delivering effective teaching and learning programmes that meet adult learners’ needs.
- Recent experience teaching adults at various levels, preferably within community education or further education settings.
