About Oasis Academy Lord's Hill

Oasis Academy Lord’s Hill is part of Oasis Community Learning, England’s second largest Multi Academy Trust. The Academy offers state‑of‑the‑art facilities and a vibrant learning environment. We are looking for an inspiring Teacher of English to join our well‑qualified English team.

Job Summary

Teach English Language and Literature at KS3 and KS4 to the highest standard, support the Academy ethos, and contribute to extra‑curricular activities. We welcome newly qualified teachers and those with more experience.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver effective teaching for KS3 and KS4 English courses within the OCL English curriculum.
  • Use a range of teaching strategies to inspire and motivate students.
  • Develop and support the integration of the Oasis Horizons Project, providing dedicated iPads and online interactive technology to enhance learning.
  • Collaborate with other teachers and contribute to the shared best practices within the department.
  • Participate in school life, including safeguarding, extra‑curricular activities, and the wider community.
Qualifications
  • Teaching qualification or equivalent, and the ability to undertake DBS checks.
  • Willingness to demonstrate commitment to the Oasis values and behaviours.
  • Experience or interest in KS3/KS4 English teaching; newly qualified teachers are welcome.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
