A local 3 form entry Good school is currently looking for a Year 2 Phonics Teaching Assistant. You should have experience reading with and supporting children to communicate and learn their sounds in order to be successful.

• Helping with pupils learning and development- in particular reading and phonics
• Supporting those with specific targets to meet, make progress quickly in a 1:1 regular slot
• Ne open to learning more about phonics and early steps in reading, spelling and writing
  
  Keeping records of each pupil’s progress
• Helping students develop life skills and mentoring them to have a positive outlook

• Have experience helping children in their early reading development – Preferred
• Have a good standard of literacy, numeracy skills
• Build up positive relationships with pupils and staff
• Understand or be willing to learn how children develop, think and learn
• Be resilient and patient when working with groups of children or on a one to one basis
• Have experience in a similar role or have a passion to learn the skills above
