Dibden Park School is an independent specialist school in Dibden, Hampshire, providing education for pupils aged 8-16 with a range of complex needs, including:

The Role - SEND Mentor

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Mentor to join the team. In this role, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small‑group support for pupils with SEND
  • Support pupils with emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
  • Build strong, consistent relationships to help pupils engage with learning
  • Work closely with teachers and the wider multidisciplinary staff team
  • Help maintain a calm, supportive, and inclusive school environment

This role is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young people with additional and complex needs.

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEND (education, care, or youth settings preferred)
  • Calm, patient, and resilient approach
  • Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
