Yournew role
Due to a maternity leave we are looking to recruit a Teacher of Food Technology. You will join a successful and friendly technology team led by a dedicated Director of Art/Technology. The role is based in two modern food classrooms, supported by a dedicated technician. Food is taught to all students in Key Stage 3 (maximum class size 15) and GCSE Food and Nutrition is taught to students in Years 10 and 11.
The school believes in giving all teachers the opportunity to be great and will support you personally and professionally to help you reach your full potential.
You will be a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with strong subject knowledge in Food Technology, strong classroom management skills, and a passion for the subject. You should have a successful track record of improving pupils’ education and know what excellent education looks like. Whether you are in your first year of teaching or your tenth, you will be warmly welcomed and supported.
