Supply Desk are seeking Teaching Assistants for a school that caters for children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs in the Southampton area

Starting ASAP on a long-term contract

Pay: £85 - £92 per day

Hours: 08:00 - 15:00

Are you dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs? We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant to join an inclusive and supportive educational environment.

• Small and intimate where all children are known well and celebrated
• A primary provision for those with Autism, SEMH and ADHD
• Implements unique and exciting learning opportunities to engage and delight
• Shows kindness and acceptance of all

• Provide one-on-one support to students with special educational needs.
• Assist the class teacher in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with the SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) to address the unique needs of each student.

• Strong empathy and understanding of diverse learning needs
• Must have good classroom and behaviour management
• Passionate, enthusiastic and proactive individual
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Patience and resilience in working with students facing various challenges
