A Secondary School in Southampton with a strong reputation for inclusion, pastoral care, wellbeing, and a supportive school culture is seeking a flexible, adaptable and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to be a part of their team!
This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are keen to gain valuable classroom experience or are considering a future career in teaching.
The RoleAs a Cover Supervisor, you will play a key role in keeping learning on track for students aged 11‑16 when their usual teacher is absent. You will guide classes using pre‑prepared lesson materials, ensuring students stay focused and engaged throughout the session. Maintaining positive behaviour in line with school policies will be central to your role, helping create a calm and productive classroom environment.
At times, you may also provide valuable support to students with special educational needs (SEN), helping them access learning and thrive!

This is a flexible position, with full‑time and part‑time opportunities available and an immediate start, offering competitive daily pay between £95 and £130.
