English Teacher - Southampton Full Time | ASAP Start (or after Easter for the right candidate) Academics are seeking an enthusiastic, creative English Teacher in Southampton to join a supportive alternative provision on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate English Teacher in Southampton who is committed to making a difference to young people who require a more bespoke educational setting.

This English Teacher role will involve full teaching responsibilities, including planning, preparation, marking, assessments, parents' evenings and contributing to the wider school community. The successful candidate will be teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students, many of whom may have SEN and/or SEMH needs. We are looking for a dedicated English Teacher Southampton who:
Holds QTS (Primary or Secondary) Has experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 Ideally has experience working with SEN and/or SEMH students Is confident managing behaviour positively and effectively Is passionate about supporting students in alternative education
