Prospero Teaching are working with a range of mainstream and SEN schools across Southampton who are seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to support students with a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN). These roles involve supporting pupils both in class and on a 1:1 basis, helping them access learning and develop confidence.

We are looking for Teaching Assistants who:

Have a calm, patient, and compassionate approach
Can build positive and trusting relationships with students
Are proactive, adaptable, and resilient
Are confident supporting children with additional needs in structured settings
Recognise and celebrate small achievements in student progress

Location - Southampton, Hampshire
Position - SEN Teaching Assistant
Start date - ASAP
Contract type - Long term supply or temp to perm
Duration - Ongoing
Full time - Full time role
Minimum rate of pay - £14.25 per hour Eligibility:

Grade C/4 or above in English and Maths (GCSE)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A nurturing and consistent approach
Reliable, committed, and able to use initiative
