Learning Support Assistant

LSA - Southampton Daily Supply, Contract & Permanent Opportunities With Academics - A Leading Education Specialist Agency Academics are looking for a number of experienced Learning Support Assistant's to work on a 1:1 basis with children with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), or awaiting an ECHP with various special educational needs including, autism, challenging behaviours and speech and language difficulties.

You will be working in a lovely Primary School lastly graded 'Good' by Ofsted in the Botley area of Southampton. They have an increasing number of students with SEN who require additional 1:1 support, across KS1 and KS2. You will be required to support children both in and outside of the classroom, dependent on their needs. They have various roles coming up, including both full and part-time positions, dependent on the level of funding per child.

Experience of working with children with complex needs would be preferred due to the varied needs, although not essential. You must have recent experience of supporting children in schools, ideally at a primary level and possess a nurturing and empathetic nature.
