Richard Taunton Sixth Form College is seeking an inspirational
** Teacher of Foundation Learning
** to support students working at
** Entry Level and Level 1 within our Vocational and English courses**, many of whom require additional structure, guidance and support.
** This is a part-time permanent contract for 16.5 hours teaching hours due to start September 2026.
**** Salary:
Sixth Form Teacher Pay Scale - Spine Point 1-9 - £33,465-£51,714 FTE (dependent on experience)
**** You will deliver a broad and flexible curriculum focused on:
*** Core skills development
* Personal and social development
* Preparation for further study, employment or independence
** The ideal candidate will:
*** Have experience working with students requiring additional learning support
* Be adaptable, patient and highly organised
* Use creative approaches to engage and motivate learners
* Work closely with support staff and external agencies
This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about inclusive education and student progression.
An Enhanced DBS check will be required.
