Position: Teacher of Mathematics.

We're looking for a creative, passionate practitioner to join our thriving Mathematics Department. If you believe every student – whatever their starting point – deserves to feel capable and confident in maths, we want to hear from you.

Working with our SEN students from Year 7 to Year 11, you'll design engaging, accessible lessons that meet learners where they are and take them further than they thought possible. You'll be a valued member of a supportive team that genuinely loves what it does.

The successful candidate will
  • Plan and deliver lessons whilst following the national curriculum.
  • Have a desire to work in an SEN setting.
  • Be approachable, flexible and adaptable, with a desire to make a difference in our students lives.
  • Have the capability for supporting children with social and emotional behavioural needs within an educational environment.
  • Possess effective communication and relationship building skills.
  • Be passionate about providing quality education care and support to young people.
  • To intervene physically with our students, when required, using Team Teach trained techniques when de‑escalation strategies have failed (full training will be provided).
  • Demonstrate analytical thinking to improve the quality of pupils' learning.
  • Build team commitment with colleagues and in the classroom engage and motivate pupils.
Qualifications and requirements
  • Based in the UK and do not require sponsorship.
  • QTS or equivalent required.
  • Proven teaching experience.
  • Desire to work in an SEN setting.
  • Effective communication skills and build good relationships.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Full UK driving licence – desirable.
