Job Introduction

Our school is looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and hard-working person to join our dedicated team. The role will involve providing cover for staff across all years from Year R to Year
6. Applicants will ideally have recent experience of working in schools in an HLTA or teaching role.

The successful applicant will have:

  • achieved the HLTA qualification or holds an equivalent educational qualification.
  • an excellent understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures.
  • a good knowledge of behaviour management.
  • the ability to deliver whole-class lessons using prepared planning.
  • initiative to assess children’s learning needs and then provide effective feedback to inform provision.
  • an enthusiastic, self-motivated, creative approach and be able to use their initiative for the best possible outcomes.
  • commitment to working as part of a team and have good interpersonal skills
  • a calm, positive and patient outlook and can thrive in a lively, active learning environment.
  • be flexible and adaptable.
