Science Teacher - Secondary Schools in Southampton
Full-Time | September 2026 Start (or sooner for the right role)
We are building a pool of Science Teachers in Southampton ahead of permanent and long-term opportunities across local secondary schools. By registering early, you’ll be well positioned to be introduced to schools as roles arise and access opportunities that may not yet be advertised.
Responsibilities- Deliver engaging and high-quality science lessons across KS3-KS4 (with opportunities at KS5 in some schools).
- Support mixed-ability learners and contribute positively to department and whole-school life.
- Qualified Science Teacher (QTS or equivalent).
- Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or General Science.
- Commitment to inclusive, engaging teaching.
- Willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
- Early access to upcoming permanent Science roles.
- Opportunities across a range of Southampton secondary schools.
- Support matching you with schools that fit your experience and career goals.
- Long-term and permanent roles as they become available.
- A valid enhanced DBS is required (support available if needed).
